Memorial Outdoor Pool (Redevelopment)
Role*
Since 1962, the Memorial Outdoor Pool, the only outdoor public pool in Ajax, has been a community staple serving its residents. JSA Sport personnel provided architectural design services for the new Memorial Outdoor Pool consisting of a pool house, a swimming pool to accommodate 290 people, and a splash pad with interactive water features. The pool house was functionally improved with larger, better-designed change spaces and new accessible and family change areas. Redesign of the surrounding landscape and advanced pool mechanics are both integral to the design.
